How Does 42Gears InLocate Work?
InLocate triangulates device locations in real time using existing WiFi infrastructure. When enrolled devices are connected and have location tracking enabled, they will have a map pin in the SureMDM console. IT admins can then set parameters for tracking frequency, permitted distance, and geofencing of zones throughout a facility. To get started, a detailed floor plan is uploaded into the MDM console, points of interest (POIs) are defined, and location data of zones are calibrated. Once properly set up, admins can view data like the last known device location, history breadcrumbs, and live locations.
