RMS Omega Technologies Welcomes Additional Sales and Services Professionals to Growing Staff
Baltimore based technology firm expands its geographical presence and support for their growing customer base with the addition of new team members in Professional Services, Software Development, Business Development and Sales
Baltimore, MD, November 1, 2017 – RMS Omega Technologies (www.rmsomega.com), a leading barcode, RFID, mobile and wireless technology systems integrator, announced today the addition of several new staff members to their growing team of automated data collection specialists. Among the company’s new hires include three additions to the management team including Clayton Vigent as Executive Vice President of Sales, Scott Begbie as Director of Business Development, and Neil Amrhein as Director of Software Development. Mr. Begbie is based out of Knoxville, TN while Mr. Vigent and Mr. Amrhein are working out of the company’s Baltimore, MD office.

Clayton Vigent joins RMS Omega’s executive management team with 30 years of industry knowledge and managerial experience. Mr. Vigent has served in several executive level positions at Peak Technologies, Unified Barcode and RFID, and was most recently Chief Operations Officer at a major kitchen and appliance distributor based out of Maryland. As Executive Vice President of Sales, Mr. Vigent oversees the organization’s sales strategy, including both inside and outside sales teams.

As Director of Business Development, Scott Begbie is dedicated to strengthening the company’s current customer base as well as expanding the business into new regions. Mr. Begbie is actively working to establish and develop both new and existing relationships with hardware, software, and services partners to provide the best resources to RMS Omega’s client base. Scott Begbie comes to RMS Omega with 30 years of industry experience at both reseller and manufacturer levels and previously held executive level positions at Zebra Technologies, Peak Technologies, and Printronix.

Neil Amrhein joins RMS Omega to head up the company’s Software Development team. Mr. Amrhein brings over 20 years of expertise to RMS Omega’s professional services group. Mr. Amrhein previously worked for Capturity, a division of Compu-Power, Inc., where he focused on building systems to utilize data collection technologies. Mr. Amrhein was responsible for project engineering, design, and implementation for applications from mobile software to web-based and Windows desktop applications.
RMS Omega also welcomes additional team members to our sales group including Senior Account Executive, Tiffany Payne, located in Atlanta, GA, and two inside sales support representatives, Kara Warren and Daniel Kwoka, based out of the company’s Baltimore, MD office. Professional Services Support Technician, John Bucklew, and Field Service Engineer, Anthony Beason, round out the list of new hires. Mr. Bucklew is working with the support team in Baltimore, while Mr. Beason is based out of Knoxville, TN. Mr. Beason brings with him over 20 years of technical expertise in the field.
