ZQ500’s Rugged Design
The ZQ500 series printers are lightweight, yet can handle bumps, drops, and collisions that happen out in the field. They can withstand repeated drops to concrete from 6.6′ on multiple sides. The printers also feature a patented military design that meets third-party-verified military standards for shock, vibration, and temperature exposure.
These rugged, mobile printers can withstand many harsh environments to protect your staff’s operation up-time. The ZQ500 printers meet IP54-ratings for resistance to dust and liquids which are not uncommon out in the field. They can automatically optimize and balance print speed and print quality.
The printing power on the ZQ500 is groundbreaking. These are Zebra’s first products to support a secondary Bluetooth communication channel, which is an innovative feature that allows one channel to send print jobs to the printer while a second channel performs additional functions such as device management. You can also print labels or receipts in “draft mode” which optimizes the printing speed for text-only printing.
